Re-tipping and Prong Reinforcement
Checking that the prongs are complete and stable is the most important point in ensuring that you will not lose your diamond or other precious gemstone. The cost of repairing and re-setting a stone very much outweighs the cost of replacing the stone. We suggest coming in, at a minimum, once a year to so we may professionally examine the quality of the claws. At which point we can suggest either adding some metal over top the existing claws or completely change the setting to ensure a safe and stable setting.
This is a service that we can complete in one day with additional cost.
